Axis Bank quarter 4 result

Myself  Bittu kumar. The quarter 4 result of axis bank is out in last evening.
In this blog i'm going to share the result of quarter 4 of axis bank.
                                          

1)Net Profit

The private sector bank on Thursday reported profit of Rs 1,505.06 crore for quarter ended March 31.It had reported a loss of Rs 2,188.74 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

2)Dividend

The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 1 per equity share on face value of Rs 2 per equity share for year ended March 31.

3)Provision and Contingencies

The figure declined 62 percent YoY and 11.23 percent QoQ to Rs 2,711.43 crore. Provision coverage ratio has sequentially improved to 77 percent from 75 percent.

4)Asset quality

Percentage of gross non-performing assets(NPA) improved to 5.56 percent from 5.75 percent in the preceding quarter ended December 31. The figure stood at 6.77 percent in the corresponding quarter last year. Net NPA also eased to 2.06 percent against 2.36 percent on a QoQ basis. It was at 3.40 percent last year.
In absolute term, gross NPA declined to Rs 29,789 crore from Rs 34289.64 crore YoY. And Net NPA eased to Rs 11,276 crore from Rs 16,591 crore during the same period.

5)loans and advance

The Bank Loan sheet grew 16 percent YoY to Rs 8,00,997 crore as on March 31.Advances increased 13 percent YoY to Rs 4,94,798 crore. Domestic loans increased 18 percent while the overseas book de-grew by 29 percent.

6)Operating profit, NII and NIM

Operating profit increased 37 percent YoY to Rs 5,0014 crore. Net Interest Income grew 21 percent YoY to Rs 5,706 crore.
